No, not course like classes, like laying bricks. Except in this case bricks are “earthbags”. We’re finally getting around to building our root cellar – mother earth news magazine had an article a few months back about building with earthbags. Basically you take a polypropylene feed bag, fill it full of the red clay that we have, and secure the top. Then you stack them like bricks and beat it down with a sledgehammer until it’s as hard as concrete. It’s HEAVY and hard work, but I think it will make a very sturdy root cellar. We plan on covering it back up once we get it built – let the ground provide insulation.
Taya and the children have been putting in a LOT of HARD work over the past couple days to build up the courses of bags after we started it a few days ago. THANK YOU!

Verizon "privacy" policy changes

This is a little bothersome to me; don’t know if it bothers anyone else or not. Why does Verizon need to track the web site usage, and whereabouts of their customers???
