Meet our newest addition – “Bonnie Bell”, a 2 year old jersey. She’s been with us a couple weeks now, giving us about 2 gallons of milk a day. Plenty of fresh milk for us, and we share with a family nearby who provides her barn and hay. Next project – CHEESE!!

Until next time…..

    Hi Matt, Taya and Gang,
Welcome Bonnie Bell. I have a source for weekly goat milk and have made chevre regularly (super easy) and my friend makes mozzarella. Lots of good sources for packaged bacteria for various cheeses. Just be sure to use real rennet .
Love seeing all the pictures and thinking about all of you. Keep up the good work with that beautiful family of yours.
    Proud aunt,
